Deep Dark Discoveries
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Investigate a mysterious dark hole with an unmanned jet powered drone. Descend as deep as you can with your limited supply of fuel and see what kinds of things are waiting for you deep down. You must be careful with your fuel use and avoid colliding into things or your run will be cut short.
Made with the FTE Quakeworld engine for the Ludum Dare 48 Compo. Game source code is in the game/src directory under MIT license.
If the game doesn't launch on Windows, try removing the OpenAL.dll, this can make the sounds more rough if OpenAL is not installed on the system.
On Linux run the fteqw64 executable. It's a good idea to have OpenAL installed on the system for cleaner sound. If it doesn't start, try it with the following options: ./fteqw64 +set vid_renderer gl

Great game dude :DD
Yeah, got virus alert here too... kinda bummed because I now Antiviruses might alert to non Malware... but still, won't risk it i'm really sorry.
Which antivirus? It's definitely a false alarm, but I don't blame anyone for not wanting to risk it.
it is virus!
Which antivirus detects it as one? It's a false positive and I'd like to submit is as such to any anti viruses that still think it's malicious when it's not.
